That grows wild in south Alabama. I have a bunch of it and didn't know what it was til I looked it up a couple of months ago.
I have that plant in my pond-it's one of my favorites! It's not even close to blooming here in the Chicagoland area . . . We did finally have hot weather-in my car (I don't know if it's accurate) it said it was 97 degrees. . . wow from the low 70's to th high 90's is too great of a temperature change for me.
It bloomed here at the end of April, of course we are a good bit warmer; it's been in the 90's for over a month down here.
