First blooms of the season!
Mrs Jimmie Springer
Nice healthy looking plant. Looks great to me.
Thanks
This seems to be the easiest one I have to overwinter.
I lost 3 or 4 tropical hibiscuses, for no known reason, had ones doing great and were wintering right next to the ones I lost.
That can happen. Each one is different from the next. I have some that are showing visual signs of adjusting to the high nighttime temperatures of summer here. They can be right next to a cultivator that is completely indifferent to the climatic changes of summer.
Yes were having the summer temps here as well, nighttime 74* and day temps 96*
Nice Bloom.. Glad your season has started.. Look forward to seeing more pics
Nice.. I really like how the color of the pads matches the eye on the yellow

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!... to all dads on this forum.
Thanks and it's been rainy hard off and on all day!
Love the first one! Do you ever sell?
Thanks
I have been giving it some thought,I'll let you know if I decide to in the future.
I would try to cross pollinate this "Mr. Jimmie Springer" with your "Mandarind Wind", don't you think this is a nice combination. I would also try and cross pollinate "Jimmie Springer" with the double one you have, you know, the one that you say it's orange, your wife says it's salmon and your neighbors say it's peach, who knows, you might get a double with Mr. Jimmie springer's colors.

I've not had much luck with pollinating flowers, the seed heads fall off prematurely!
But who knows might get lucky!
