Question!!!

Yes,my Mountain Magic has bloom for the 3rd time,looks to me like this bloom is smaller.She has not gotten her color all the way.Has anyone ever had their blooms turn out smaller then normal?

In your other Mountain Magic thread, you mentioned several seed pods on her and this is a young plant. As with any other fruiting plant, the demand on her energy resources is greater than she can handle and still produce full sized flowers at this point. If you want larger flowers, you may have to remove some or all of the seedpods. A larger plant would be able to support both.

Another possibility could be the weather. If you've had very hot days, the stress and loss of moisture would affect flower production somewhat. Last year, I noticed fewer flowers before my Brugs went into a summer dormancy due to the heat and arid conditions.

Betty,she only has one seed pod on her.If you look at the second picture you can see the pod.It has been very hot here,we haven't had no rain for some time now.It is very dry so it could be due to both.So what i will do is put her in the shade so it won't be as bad on her.Thanks for your information.
