Skype and TV puter Connection

Anyone use this?
Thought if I could figure how to integrate my laptop to my TV this would be great to see my grandbabies. I have the line to connect the puter to TV but have never figured it out. I have bluetooth on my laptop and the TV is Panasonic 50" HD so would connect fine. Just cant get a connection and the process scare me that I will mess everything up.

Guess this is 2 questions.
