Kalanchoe pinnata

Summerville, SC(Zone 8a)

I have a 4 foot Mother of Thousands plant that got lost in the greenhouse jungle until a few weeks ago. It started out as a 3 inch cutting a few years ago. I don't want to keep it because it is a zone 10 plant and it is taking up too much room in the greenhouse.

I'm offering it for free to anyone in the low country that would like it and would be willing to pick it up. If no one is interested then I'll post in in Trades for postage.

Mother of a thousand is a scary name.

Isn't it though! .. All the ones I've seen have those little babies on the leaves and this one doesn't so I wasn't sure what it was.

I think the gestation period is another month or so then you will see the young'uns.

Lol .. I've had this thing for years .. as I said, it got lost in the jungle .. I finally noticed it because it was literally slapping me in the face every time I walked through the greenhouse door. It probably could become down right scary if it got some care! I'm visualizing baby kalanchoe's scampering around the greenhouse knocking everything over. Kinda like gremlins.
