Speckled white lily

These use to flower after my orange tiger lilies, but for the first time these are flowering first, and probably 2 to 3 weeks before my tigers will be in bloom,I wonder if that is a sign of something?

Me too!
I try to keep dates of when things flower, and just to see year from year if it continues being that way,and when something changes.is there a reason for it!

I would suspect that your white lilies are blooming on schedule, and your tigers are late, rather than vice versa. Assuming the relative environments between the two have not changed, I don't know of anything that would promote early flowering in one hybrid lily without having the same effect on the other.

So I think that if what you say is true, there is something slowing down your tigers: mechanical wounding, transplanting, a bad winter or battling disease would be the most common suspects. Still, 2-3 weeks is a BIG difference . . .

I looked back and saw tigerliles blooming on 4th of July,2004.
I'll look and see if I can find about when these bloomed last you might be right!

I couldn't find anything when they bloomed last, but I'm almost sure these bloomed later.

I too have things blooming out of order, and mega early.

We had a very dry winter, maybe not as cold as it would have been normally, don't know if that is playing a role in the way things are happening this season.
