here's a new showgirl pic, i think she might be fluffier than my lionheads, rotfl.

hey i got a question if u collect seeds from ur brug. u grow them r they the same as mother plant or do they not come true from seed? i have always wondered that and i have heard different replies. oh my r those darling!!! love the pic!!

Unless you control the pollination, nothing can be guaranteed to come true from seed.

Oh wow.. That is one big ball of fluff! How cute is that!!!

Brugs don't breed true.. They are not self fertile. I grew about 300 to get that lil double pink. I was addicted bad for a few years.. :) I have a really pretty double orange too.

Here is my orange seedling..

oh my zz those r all just breath takeing, i love them!!! no worries at all i could talk gardens and chickens forever they r both my favorite hobbies. sides i asked for u and others to share pics in one of my posts above, lol u must of missed i asked that.

i haven't been able to be here much for many reasons so i'm enjoying all the pics!! i love when u all share pics so don't ever be sorry for a minute post away. i've been dredding the 17th and 22nd of this mth to come i have to take my hunter who is 7 to children's hospital in pittsburgh for more testing(sadated mri and erg), not sure if i told u before or not but he was born legally blind, partial color blind, with nystagmous and other eye problems. in a few mths he must go back to the pediatric eye specialist for follow up after tests. then we may have to take him for more testing after that for genetic testing in phili or youngstown ohio depending on the test results from children's. i'm very worried and scared for what may lay ahead and what else the new tests will show so u r helping me to keep my mind off that some and i really appreciate it.

this is one of my new lionhead does miss ashlyn don't think i showed u all her before yet.

Thank you Silkie.. I love brugs and chickens.. I love to take flower pics too.. I have a cheap camera, but they still come out pretty nice.
Yes, I know about Hunter, I didn't realize the appointment was getting so close. I know it's hard, I can't imagine being in your shoes. I know you have a huge burden to bear as far as fears, finances, future, etc... don't stress till you have to. Cross the bridge when you get there.. (easy for me to say) I've got some major stuff goin on too..
But really.. Nothing is gonna happen tonight.. So for now we can enjoy the fluffiest bunniez on the planet and beautiful bloom pics.. and crazy chickens.
Miss Ashlyn doesn't even look real.. that is the softest soft I've ever seen in a photo.

This thread is just full of beautiful and adorable pictures.
Thanks for sharing them all.
Silkiechick hang in there. Life is full of trials and challenges and we learn and grow from them. It is always hardest when a child is involved. Hang in there and know you have an extended family here at DG.

Love the Silkie pictures and the bunnies too and of course the flowers just add a beautiful splash of color. My mother loved flowers and grew some of the most beautiful flowers. Our yard always looked like a flower garden.

Thought I'd throw this picture in the mix. I just love when babies are snuggled with their mommies snoozing. Just too cute. This is our Silkie Charcoal and one of her babies.
