thought you might enjoy a pic of a curcuma I received last year from a terrific friend....I can't thank Tropicana enough for sharing so many of her plants with me! This was taken about three weeks ago - it's about 4-5" taller now I wish it would never stop! :)

Aw..... I love it! Where did you find your milk jug? That is a beautiful shade of blue! Most of the ones I see are a dull shade of red, but yours is great! It looks great with your gingers (which I know nothing about lol) I had a variegated one last yr. but hubby forgot to water it while I was in Fl. and it curled up. Need to replace it :)
Thanks for sharing your pics.

Red: thanks for the pick- I planted some last year that never flowered. Could it be I planted too late? they came up beautiful leaves full lush and green but no flower.Fingers crossed this year I'll get some blooms. I love yours they color is great. I think I have some light pink ones. Pink is my favorite color so anything pink is always high on my list of fav's

Rags: I got the jug at a yard sale. I have another black one , not as in good shape and a little different but I picked them up a few years ago for 10bucks each. They do add a nice touch to the garden.

Thanks for the compliment , glad you like them.
and as far as gingers I'm no expert either , I learn as I go, all I know is I like the large leafed ones and have several kinds and love the lush green leaves, when they flower its a bonus.

Have a great one folks ,
Sylvia
