Blue Rive White II hardy hibiscus-if you love tropical looking plants you should grow this lovely plant. Likes water, lots of sun and repeated doses of osmocote 14-14-14
I don't know how it can produce such a big flower
my lady baltimore on the other hand has a tad smaller booms, but i still like them

we do what we have to do in our hot climates. I need a shade house so bad but need other things more. It will have to wait another year.

OK Vossner whose undie on the fence? LOL
Love the tent effect.
Lavina
Lavina, granny panties belong to me, tee hee. j/k. It is a rag I keep there. We were gone for almost two weeks and I can't begin to tell you how happy I am to have had my tent. Even tender coop plants were unscathed. Today I heard in the news that June 2009 was the hottest June EVER in our area.
Its hot here at the Crystal Coast and oh so humid.
Glad you had a good time.
Lavina
Vossner, Glad you coop plants made it during the heat. We are having the same high temps. hotest in history. I can't keep it all watered. We have not had rain all month with the 100-106 temps for the last two weeks. starting to lose plants.
LavinaMae, where is grantsboro-cost? We are 70 miles from Gulf and like your area- oh so humid.
Can't believe this is blooming in this heat. Forgot to say it is Robert Flemming.
