Any thoughts on what may be happening to my broccoli?

Chevy Chase, MD(Zone 7a)

This plant is getting dry spots that then turn into holes.

Perhaps aphids or flea beetles??

Bixby, OK(Zone 7a)

I don't know but it looks like that particular leaf might be on the ground? I always cut those off as they end up looking funky. The other leaves look good from what little I can see. If it were me I would cut it off and keep an eye on it.

Looks like the leaf miners that hit my swiss chard
peg

I've seen evidence of leaf miners on my cantaloupe. *sigh*

I found the culprit -- it is a small black and white striped caterpillar -- now researching how to get rid of them.

You can spray Bt on your plants and it will take care of worms. The deal is they have to ingest it for it to work, so you might have to apply more than once. Bt is an organically approved product, too.

Moss Point, MS(Zone 8b)

I had legions of small black and white caterpillars as well as corn ear worms that attacked my green tomatoes at about the same time. I used the BT and that was the end of them. A couple weeks later I had 3 days of rain followed by some nice cooler days and they came back. I zapped them again with BT just one time and they were history. I also found a couple small dead hornworms so they were gearing up for an onslaught. BT is great stuff for caterpillars.

What is BT? Does it work on slugs?

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Bt doesn't work on slugs, but Sluggo Plus does. Bt is Bacillus Thuringiensis.
