My Canon AE1 was stolen in 2000 with all my lens and camera bag. I've not been able to replace it, but have looked at the Canon Rebel and had decided to save up the money for it. Thanks for the information and the great picture that shows what this camera can do.

All my PlantFile entries from 2008 and forward are from this camera. Very happy with it but I also will start taking a few with our Canon 7D, once I can tear it out of DH's hands!
