This one is extremely easy. I have it both mounted and potted. You shouldn;t have trouble with it

Is it in the green house gothqueen? I haven't been able to keep one alive at all in regular house conditions...

All my hoyas are in the GH except 2 compactas I have hanging in my bathroom window

I don't have a greenhouse...sob....so I'm keeping it inside in a bright window for the moment and misting it...
I'm letting it grow up a slab of pine bark that I'm keeping damp..it's still in the pot tho.
Do they like to dry out or be kept moist?

Congratulations, I'm glad you were able to find it. I have it in the porch and so far so good.
Good luck with it.
Lourdes =)

I keep my H. curtisii moist, hanging in a mostly sunless window beside H. serpens, who also is kept moist. I will occasionally skip a watering so that they get less moist, but they never completely dry out.

Thanks, Christine....how long have you had yours?
I'd love a serpens, too...the little guys appeal to me somehow...

Since the summer of '06, I got it as several cuttings. It has provided quite a few cuttings of itself but hasn't bloomed for me yet. Its currently about 3 feet long, having last been snipped for cuttings in February.

Yes, serpens is a cute little one. It was quite slow to start growing, but now its really bushing up and growing. Come to think of it, that one provided a few cuttings late last summer too.

I grow my serpens the same way as you except mine is in very bright light and seems to like that

The window is fairly bright, but faces another house so it only gets direct sun at midday for a few minutes. This picture was taken over the winter when it wasn't sharing its window with curtisii yet, and taken right around noon.
