I Just found one that looks a lot like this in my pool too!! I am the southern border of NY state near Binghamton. Scared me.. From what I am reading they are harmless. Great. I am confused about the name. I have one looking just like it called fishing spider, wood spider, and wolf spider. Anyone know the right name for this spider? I have it trapped for now waiting to see if it was harmful. I'd like to let it go the best place for it, not my pool of course!!
