CLOSED: Need ID for this small Massachusetts Bird

Can anyone ID this small bird found in a Massachusetts forest. (Son's school project)

Newly fledged, which makes it a bit tricky; I'd guess probably a House Finch but that's not definite. It is young enough still to be dependent on its parents, keep a discrete eye on it and see what comes along with some food.

Looks like a fledgling Mocking Bird to me, but could also be a Robin or Finch
