I'm not sure if you can make it out but this leave has an underlying yellowish color. The plant is growing strongly. I wondered if it is getting enough sun or fertilizer, or if it has a disease.
Colocasia esculenta leaves turning yellow.
That leaf pictured is not from a Colocasia. That is either Alocasia odora or Alocasia x calidora. I'm willing to bet both my bachelors and my masters degrees on it. The yellowish color can be due to getting too much sun. I have some in full sun and the leaves get much yellower than yours. They prefer partial shade, especially shade during the midday hours.

I believe your ID. lol I just know that is what it was listed as when I bought it. A giant tuber from a tub full of them. It's pretty huge. It's gets a lot of shade except for about two hours in the afternoon.
It's the plant on the right.
I appreciate your answer. Maybe I don't have to worry so much.

In your picture, the two big plants to the rear; one at left is definitely Colocasia, while the one next to it (the one whose leaf you pictured) is the Alocasia. The one further left, smaller with very dark petioles, is the Alocasia macrorrhizos "blackstem mac".
The one on the left is just some taro bulbs. lol Way too many in the container. I have always gardened in the north and this is a whole new ball game for me. I'm trying to embrace the climate of gulf coast Texas.
Thanks for the IDs. I really appreciate them. I read your article about Alocasia odora. Very interesting. Thanks.
your dog is way cool
Thanks. She's a good one. She gets a little nervous about having her picture taken. I'm not sure why.
She has a very interesting face. She looks Oriental. The elephant ears make a nice backdrop for her to pose in front of. Your plants are very nice too
lol Well she is a Chow.
