The first time we went to The Grand Canyon we went on by Meteor Crater thinking it was probably not worth our time or money (we were driving all the way from Atlanta to Grand Canyon to Yellowstone to Bismarck, ND to visit my sister and her family and back home with many side trips along the way). I doubt I would go back to Meteor Crater, Carlsbad Caverns, or Painted Desert but they were all worth an extra side trip at the time. I definitely would do Grand Canyon again. |
