There is an Estonian family who used to go back "home" and they spent the summer on the island "Vilsandi" they owned a house on off the coast of Estonia. The husband made all kinds of kitchen utensils and spoons from the Juniper wood that covered the whole island. Juniper wood is indestructible ans very hard. He just spent his time whittling away.
