Naturally, they're more interested in the real thing. I was able to get this pic of one on a Black-eyed Susan. Unfortunately, it flew away before it occurred to me to zoom in.

A hummingbird was enjoying my Cardinal Flowers and Salvia 'Black and Blue', but it flew away before I could get a pic. Normally hummers aren't very shy, so I was surprised.
