Ice blue blooms(in spring only), 3 feet tall, likes full sun and it's deep roots can withstand very dry conditions, hardy to your zone both ways — to me it's the most perfect perennial I have ever seen. Although it only blooms in the spring, the summer foliage is soft and beautiful and in fall it turns brilliant gold. Stunning. I will include pictures for you. First is summer, next is fall, then spring.
