'Zeph', as I like to call her, is a really wonderful rose. I didn't think I could grow it because it is reputed to be a zone 6 rose and I was in a 5a climactic zone, but a rosarian in St. Louis strongly advised me to plant it anyway, and I did. Most people grow it as a climber, but it makes an outstanding shrub! It will take three years or so to bloom, while it pumps out foliage and puts on size. But it blooms for months. I actually put mine on the northeast corner of my former property.

I recently purchase 'Kathleen Harrop', a sport of Zeph, so now I have both!
