May i suggest that, when you have dug the clump up (mine was in a lg. square pot) You simply cut off the whole lower half of the roots. It will NOT harm the plants. Then hose all the soil off the rest of the root ball and you will see what is what and where. We ended up dividing it by slicing it into sections with a knife. You can, kind of, see where the center of each division is. Take a deep breath--and slice away. NO other way! Mine is growing nicely......in the same old pot. Look! G. |
