Bird Identification: CLOSED: Which bird of prey?, 1 by tigerlily

Mom is 91, and has watched birds all of her adult life. She's unable to get around any longer, so they bring her more pleasure than ever. This bird spent a bit of time on the deck outside moms room, and just made her day. Help! I need to be able to give mom an ID on this. :-)
