Hello all,
I would appreciate any help with covering up an eyesore fence.
A 6.5 foot high galvanised palisade fence has just been erected in my direct view where there used to be a very nice view into the woods beyond from the footpath it borders. Undoubtedly the foliage around it will start to consume it eventually but assuming the fence owners don't have a problem, I would like to grow something up it (hopefully with some speed). The thing is, there are no crossbars (until you reach the top), it's just vertical metal struts as per the picture attached. I am wondering if there are any plants which could hang onto such a non-porous, heat transmitting and unfriendly surface? Perhaps honeysuckle or a climbing rose?
Thanks for any suggestions.
Jon
