It got too big for mer to take in to winter over...so--I cut it back--and took cuttings and big plant itself to Cylburn Arboretum here in Baltimore... This was the second huge brug I gave away--along with 2 huge, heavy baskets of Ric-Rac Cactus as well as two huge Epis. So--this year--I start all over from cuttings...NOT the first time. These Brugs and Epis grow so fast and so big--in 3-4 years--there's another monster.... Over the 12 years or so on Dg--and 2 yrs before that on Garden Web-- I have accumulated odd plants...None common in this area..... Here is the Dr. Seuss--last September... Awesomely beautiful! Under it are red wax Begonias. |
