Judging from their sizes, I would say that the single ones in pics #2, #3, and #4 should bloom around April/May. Make sure their potting soil is fresh and they get good light. Feed them "weekly but weakly"." ************************************************************************** Most of the AV's are starts from leaves at different times...It is a collection of so many different propagations that many don't even have a tag on them as to color. Then again--many of the smaller ones have the same color tag, because many of the leaves came from my TWO existing AV's. So--I have an abundance of many of the same.. Then, of course, over time--I have acquired leaves from AV's from different sources. They all have rooted and are now growing out. They were ALL freshly repotted in that amazing AV soil (same as I gave you) and I am Keeping a water bottle on the table with MG-AV liquid fertilizer in it--and, any time i see a dry AV--I water it. I check every day. Not every one gets watered at the same time. The light is a 100W CFL shaped like a spot light. Whether that is enough--I do not know. They seem to be doing OK. I am sure more light would not hurt--but150W bulbs are hard to find... Don't want to blow a circuit either... At least they are warm--NOT cold as they were sitting on the shelf against my LR window. I suppose it is going to be a waiting game. Gita Here--just took this to show you. It looks dim--but that is what indoor lights look like when you take a picture... |
