There's already a sapling of a Sargent cherry (which I can't wait to see get larger) in close range to coordinate the cinnamon trunks. First shot is my baby sargent cherry 'Accolade.'

I bought my new cercis alba from Forestfarm rather than look for it closer to home. Last year it was not easily found in the local nurseries. They were gorgeous in bloom in the woods at the Nichols Arboretum in Ann Arbour when we were there in late May, as seen in the second pic.
