The pic shows the Heptacodium on the left and Hydrangea quercifolia on the right. I had thought of propagating a few Heptacodium for ebay as this plant seems quite hardy in a number of ways. I sawed it hard in the spring and it bounced back. It doesn't do well in nurseries because not too many know about it and it is a late summer performer. That's one reason I like it so much. Even the hummingbirds go after it. If you want a rooted cutting, just hit me back in a few months. |
