And almost all of them seem to spout. :) Jaye, I grow one peony here - 'Bowl of Beauty'. It has done well but tended to get a little leaf spot this year by the end of July or so. But it has gotten too shaded by some of other things and is planted not too far from the woods and there are all kinds of things going on back there. DH's cousin grew two gorgeous peonies, one white and one red (or maybe it was pink), at her house about 90 miles north of here in KY. Her father had planted them years and years ago and they were obviously very happy where they were planted. What a sweet hummer shot, Kathy! Luv that. :) Only shot of my peony this year that I could find. |
