Quit freaking out about your plants. I do it all the time, and it accomplishes very little. Move the plant where you want it to STAY. I have mine indoors, out of drafts in a West facing room. The room is brightish all day without getting hot. I keep the soil consistently moist but not wet. When I first got my Alocasia, it had one tiny, purplish leaf at the base which I snipped off. I would leave your larger leaves alone for a while. I have no idea how this type of plant recovers after an incident such as yours. I have found that patience and consistency after a disruption will straighten things out.
