This moth is about half an inch long and comes only in the rainy season and a pest in its small hairy caterpillar stage for about 2 months. Since ours is a clay-tiled roof they are more in number what with the old wall with lime plaster, the perfect place for these creatures that love moisture. The caterpillars are found in thick colonies, obviously hatched from the tiny eggs laid at one place, usually in the corners. Which is this?

And which is the second one that is not a pest.
