Betty, canned figs are just like jam. If you really chop it in the Cuisinart, it is like fig applesauce.

I put off the canning until tomorrow. We had a wonderful day. Cloudy and a light rain most of the day. And a wonderful breeze. If your eyes were closed you would not think you were in Las Vegas. Unusual weather but I will take it.

Yes, Betty, I have some beautiful plants. Zone pushing is one of my favorite hobbies. We have a 3 car garage and the 3rd car section is for my zone pushing plants during the winter.

I left the patio this morning, Made Vern and the puppies breakfast and then headed to our bedroom area to shower, curl my hair and straighten the bedroom. 2 1/2 hours later, the puppies and I appeared. We had wandered around the landscape, with my hair in rollers, and took some photos, did some dead heading, and just enjoyed the weather. Then I had to come back inside and dry my hair with the blow drier because it was still damp after 2 hours. Then I watched last weeks Masterpiece Mystery theater. I love English theater. I just totally goofed off and I never do that. But I had a blast.

You all have a great morning. By the time I am up, you are nearly half done with your day.

Photo is my cat enjoying the cool breeze on the bedroom part of the patio. She is sitting on the cushions I had moved off the glider so I could dust it. That is my retirement rocker. I have been retired since 2005 (I think). I need to look that year up again. I retired on July 15th, just do not remember what year. LOL. I did mortgages in Las Vegas for 35 years. First female loan officer in Las Vegas and first female loan officer at Transamerica Corp. Another story.

Hugs, Sharon

Betty, I love your bags.
