If they, truly, originated from "Ditch Lillys"--how can they become something else so beautiful? Maybe this question should be addressed to "Lovesdaylilies".... YOOOO---HOOOOO---are you there???? I keep ending up with clumps of DL that colonize too much space-and then don't bloom. Then--I have to dig them up--and now I have different containers of bulbs to share. I need those spaces for new things....DG has so much to offer through Swaps-- and i have yo always say "No Thanks--I don't have room!" I suppose--my best goal would be to have a FEW spectacular DL's and not clumps of so-so Daffs and Wood Hyacinths and Tete-a-Tetes....as well as Grape Hyacinths--all over creation. These NEVER quit!!! I KNOW color is beautiful--but then having to deal with all the dying off foliage is a pain in the A....! There is so much out there tempting me! All the trades and offers....cuttings of this and that....AAAAGGHH.. Gita....;o( Thanks, Gita I have a couple clumps of these as well---Are these also a version of Ditch Lilies??? These bloom later than the others...This clump is by my shed... |
