Okay, I need some help from all you daylily growers out there. Almost all of my daylilies are the fulva or ditch lily type except for two clumps of double/triple flowered ones I rescued. The single flowered grow appropriately along my front ditch in a 40 foot row, and the double triple
Is this even possible clumps about 15 feet behind them. Each year the singles bloom first followed by the doubles.

This year started out the same but almost half of the long row of single bloomers have become doubles!
Is this a miracle or a usual occurance with daylilies?
