I've been working all spring on making the new deck fit into the landscape. The collage shows how it looked last fall and the new border, as well as the rock garden in the box. Originally that was going to be a pond, but we decided against it and made it a rock garden instead. I'm trying various ground covers to fill in around the mugo pine in the rock garden and will keep whichever one grows best in this environment.
