I think you can sprinkle them in about a month. They are like dust....they will come up sometime later--grow--
and live through the winter. A true biennial.
Once the seedlings are good size, you can just prick them up and move them anywhere you want.

In the spring--they gather size and grow, quickly, into big clumps and shoot up the bloom stalk.
You will see many more babies coming up in spring as well--sort of a 'second batch"...

And the cycle continues....Funny that you did not see the seeds to these when you were looking through my box?

My yellow ones are growing very well this year. Not sure when they bloom--don't have a picture from me--
Got mine from David--first batch died out in one year. He gave me 2 more. All is well now...
