A big thanks to all on this Earth Day! There is a lot to learn about seedling/plant ID but the Seed Site lets you do a search by common or Latin name. Beyond that we get to learn some Botany (monocot/dicot) and plant families down to species specific classifications. Long before Google, we could earn extra credit in High School Biology if we could key out and identify the plant that Mr Abraham (If you an ID a plant, thank a teacher!) put out each week. I was the only one to ID an Amarylis as none of us had ever seen one before. My, how times have changed. Next, I Stalked the Wild Asparagus with wonderful Euwell Gibbons! Guess I'm also good at putting a good search inquiry into Google to get results that work for me. Bleeding Heart seedlings for you Sally |
