I could almost stand to watch them take a squirrel or bird, its just all the screaming. Really rattles me. Anyway, my question was about the bird feeders for little birds that have a 'fence' around them, and the little birds go thru it to get to the food. I was curious if someone thought this would keep the birds safe, or if you thought when they saw the hawk, they would get spooked and fly out where the hawk could get them anyway?
This is wrens nest that was on my patio. They fledged a few weeks ago, these are two of them seconds out of the nest. I pray they got a chance to fly, and didnt end up as someone dinner. I know it takes them a while to learn to fly.
