OK! He goes to move the van as close to the bed as he can. And here is where the FUN starts....
The van's battery is DEAD! He left his lights on! Geez...
So--I go and get my cables and drive my car nose-to-nose with his and he hooks them up.
Great! It works--so he lets the car run a bit to make sure it will be OK.

WHAT IF I did not have cables????? We would have been up poo-poo's creek!
