My name is Kelly Marie I am 36 a mother to 2 girls--14 and 17 and a son of 16--- step mother to three--2 boys 18 and 21 (Brandon the 21 year old is in Iraq now so I am sharing my time between the "news" and gardening. and a step daughter 17. Yes we are the "Brady Brunch" with three girls and three boys---all teen agers. So if I have got them this far then I am going to make it. LOL!! They all are great kids and it really scary knowing that there are people out in the world who would just love to "behead" your son. I love gardening--mainly named daylilys with over 500 now and perennials for sun and shade. I love to trade! IF I have just a few minutes of time for myself to trade. Life can get a little hectic around here at times. But I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I will really suffer when I have to go thru the "empty nest" syndrome. It was a little rough combining two households of teens but now it is wonderful. I also love to read garden materials and root cuttings and things. Just something about propagating..... hahah You would think that would be the last word in the world I would want to hear!!! hahah But I love each and everyone! I think that was my destiny in life to try and be a mother of everything. Me and my "sexy--handsome" husband have been married for 7 years. We both love getting our hands dirty so our yard is plum full of perennials, annuals and daylillies. I have envisioned the cottage garden look for our garden and am just about there. I love the mixed border cottage garden look. I am a stay at home mother and I host a plant sale in spring and usually try to have one in the fall for "spending" money for my plants. So it is a all hands on board a week or two before the sale. I live in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Arkansas--- God's Country! I have a full sun front yard and a full shade back so I get to have both worlds. I have a hobby greenhouse and I love carrying for my house plants over the winter--- because there is NO room in the house for them during the winter---still trying to figure out how I can move my bedroom out there!!!! hahahah!
I just love Daves Garden--the people "family" here are so so sincere and knowledgeable. I have received some great plants in trades here. Don't know how I got this far in gardening without DG.
Yes I am a KID ROCK fanatic--- I refuse to let go--haha I just listen to his music when I have a few minutes alone-- once a month haha!
I have a year old "Meanie Weenie" dog! No she is really a spoiled kid. Her name is Angel and she trully is. But if we all had 8 people taking turns on petting--feeding and playing with us we would be also. LOL!! She wants for NOTHING!!! Her favorite thing to play is GOLF!!! yes she is the next JOHN DALY or shall I say Joan Daly--hahaha.
