Let's see. My name is Staci and I am 26. I am married to a wonderful man named Ron, who is 38. He lived down stairs from my daughter and I in our first little apartment and it was really love at first sight when I saw him 7 years ago - I just knew there was something about him. We started dating a few months later and have been married for 4 years now. I have one daughter named Zoe, who is 10, and is a beautiful, smart, sweet, red head. Ron has 4 kids - Cassidy, 8, Ryan, 13, Megan, 14, & Greg, 16 and the three oldest live with us full time. Also, living with us are a 4 year old Golden Retreiver, Rusty, & two 7 month old Chihuahua pups named Paco & Atticus, and my daughter's mouse, Scampers, who is at least 1.5.

I work full time and have been in the same small two person office for almost 8 years. Ron just quit his company of 9 years a month ago to start his own business. He works in the semiconductor manufacturing field doing machine work, installs, and software testing. It is scary, but exciting because he is so smart and has much more to offer than he had a chance to before.

I have been truly into gardening for about a year and a half now. I have a small 60 X 100 (with house) lot that I garden on. I wish I would have been more into gardening at our old house that had double the yard, but I am trying to make up for it. I started with a perennial bed in the spring of '03, and have been building from there.

I was going to college part time before Ron's kids first moved in back in Winter '02. I had over 30 hours in Electrical Engineering, but had to quit when I could not handle 4 kids, a job, and school. I have decided to stick with my job until the kids are out of the house. Hopefully in ten years I can go back to school to get a Horticulture degree. Do something I actually feel passionate about.

I am constantly looking at the trees and flowers around me. I love nature in general and love to investigate and identify new plants or wildlife and what makes them happy. The abundant diverse examples of nature amaze me every day.
