Sounds like your cardboard plant will be fine, Barb. I'll bet by next fall, it's big and gorgeous. Glad your Queen palm is doing well, also. My 2nd Queen, which is located away from the house, got pretty burnt the night the temp dropped to 19/20f. I should probably treat it w/copper fungicide, but since it's really not viable in my zone, I think I'm gonna let nature take its course.
