Soooo glad to be back, been a busy little... starts with a "Bee", heeheeheee < =D DH and I (after repairing a suddenly leaky toity, EEEK!!), finally...(or, should I say, "FINALLY!"?) got the (marble) tile laid in the "master" bathroom, WHEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

A little back-story: About a year and a half ago, we had the brilliant idea of ripping out the old carpet and getting hardwood flooring put in. GREAT! While we were at it, it was time to re-do the bathrooms. OK. Along with lining up his (DH's) buddies to put the flooring down, we found and bought ALL the stuff for BOTH bathrooms, from marble tile for the floors to toilet paper holder... EVERYTHING. Cool. Got the hardwood done, and while they were at it, they put down tile in the foyer and the hall bathroom. DH and I did the rest of the bathroom (easy peezy). That was Spring of 2011!!! Meanwhile, all the goodies for the master bath sit in the basement waiting their turn. Somewhere around THANKSGIVING this year (2012, really) we tear out the master bath... totally gutted except for tub/shower (not replacing that, it's too much $$).

That brings us to the present. Just last WEEK I finally got it all primed and painted, and now, this weekend, we FINALLY got that darned flooring laid!! PHEEWWWWWW!!!!!!!!! ... how does that saying go? "It's all done but the grouting"?? < =D Note to DIYer's: if you're gonna cut marble tile, for cryin' out loud, get a GOOD wet-saw!! That's all I have to say about that!

Now... before (plywood floor)... and AFTER! YIPPEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
