Nik, that is a lot of milk. I don't get half that but I also latch the kids so I am sharing and my goats are pygmies. It's plenty enough for us. I think the Nigerian Dwarfs have the highest butter fat percentage. If I had the room I'd like to have one of those small breed cows for milking.

Larkie, how many goats do you have and what breeds?


This was some of the first cheese I made with goat milk. It was green onion and sun dried tomatoes. Mmmm!
