LInda, I will just bet y'all get to eat the BEST tex mex food.. I have a friend from someplace along the border there, and they since moved here to TN.. and I love when she fixes food for our church events.. oh my gosh !! YUMMM

I have gardened all my life it seems... since I grew up on a farm waaaay outside the city limits.. My Larry is a novice at it ... but it has been his lifelong dream to do a "truck patch " and sell his produce.. and since we have the acreage, I told him to "Go for it !!".. His ex was a city gal, and wanted no part of growing anything at all... So, Larry is in Hog Heaven now.. LOL My late husband also was a city fella... and didn't like getting his hands dirty.. but he was a good man and I adored him.. we were together for more than 40 years before he passed away suddenly.. We feel that God has placed us together in our old age to share common loves for country and gardening and travel..

Here is a photo of us taken last early spring.. He is a bit younger than I am, but then so is dirt.. LOL
