It is easier for me to buy the tads and use them as a form of birth control on the koi fry than it is to try to catch them every fall. Every year, even with allowing the koi to eat the eggs and the fry, we would end up with 50-60 or so koi fry. We had exhausted all possibilities of homes for the poor things, so this way, at least we didn't have to chase all the fry around.

This guy/gal (I don't know how to tell) was sitting in my skimmer the other day.
