We are experimenting with different plants growing in pea gravel, to see what will grow best, hanging roots in the water. We got some tropical fish when they go onsale at the pet store. They sell them 2 or 3 inches long and some will grow to over a foot. One of my favorites is the fancy tropical cat fish.
