This little RT Hummer spent quite a while preening and fluffing and preening and fluffing and.... She would periodically chase off any "perceived intruders" then go right back to her preening ritual.

The dead branch is actually one I attached last year to the shepherd's hook outside our kitchen window where a hummer feeder hangs. They absolutely love that branch and it gives us extra time to watch them.
