This weekend we went camping and I stopped in my favorite nursery in Belfast, ME. Got Corydalis 'Blue Heron'. I hadn't heard of blue-flowered Corydalis before. The tag says zone 6, which won't work for me, but the nursery owner said zone 5. I was willing to gamble to get that blue. Anyone have experience with this?

I also got a Chamaecyparis pisifera (pictured) that the owner, who does a lot of plant propagation, had obtained from cuttings taken from Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Boulevard' that exhibited a fan shape as opposed to the normal curly shape. She tentatively called it 'Blue Fan' although I gather has not registered it yet (or whatever it is one does to name a cultivar). I just liked how it looked and didn't care whether it is official. Of course, it may revert to the species, we'll see.
