I have ordered supplies from them but never been there in person. I got a sweet Acer palmatum Katsura bonsai, young but well-proportioned, I thought. Also, two bags of fine pine bark, which is a major and very-hard-to-find ingredient in Al's (Tapla here at Dave's Garden) home-made potting soil, which I like for JM's because the drainage is so excellent with his mix (see his posts on Container Gardening forum if interested). Best of all, came home to see the rain gauge tell me we got two inches! |
