RikerBear wrote: We are seasonably high right now....normally we are in the mid 70's from mid May through July and into. August is when if we're going to we get in the 80's and 90's (never broken 100....since temps have been logged, some 75 yrs) We have been in the high 70's to mid 80's for several weeks now. Today is our 6th day in a row above 85. To us, this is a scorcher. Our night temps are staying in the low 70s. And to top it off we have had almost NO rain since early April.....tiny bits of rain, but nothing like we should be having. The leaves on the two bestest ones I have grew out from nubs, to two inch leaves in about two weeks. I moved them out under the lilac bushes and they just took off. I am beyond excited!! The plumie on my front deck with the bloom spike forming is just killing me. I hope hope hope it's a rainbow, or pink one. Although I'll be just as happy with a white or yellow. I just want to smell that smell.....ahhhhhh. So how are yours doing? RikerBear Marc P.S. Here is my current favorite view of the back yard...... No plumies in it, but I like it none the less. |
